Fresh orange juice with my sensible head on, otherwise it’s a pint of lager.

Hobbies:

I like to read a lot, both fiction and non-fiction. I am also a massive football fan and that takes up a large chunk of my life (and wallet!).

The super Seagulls, who else!?

Song to sing at Karaoke:

I once sang ‘Hound Dog’ by Elvis and even since then I avoid Karaoke nights. No idea why...

Biggest star ever met:

The Saturdays of modern music fame. Of days gone by, it would have to be Stuart Adamson from the band Big Country.

Favourite Film/TV programme:

Favourite film – The Green Mile. TV Programme – I’m a massive fan of comedy so it's a toss up between Only Fools & Horses or Fawlty Towers.

Most worn item of clothing and why:

Jeans, because I find that leaving the house without them is not socially acceptable! That, and the fact they keep my legs warm.

Who would play you in the film of your life?

A few people have said I look a bit like Russell Crowe, so I will go with him. Although for sheer acting ability it would have to be Tom Hanks.

If you didn't work in radio what would you do?

In my dreams I would be a Premier League footballer, in reality I’d more likely be a football commentator.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

I love Sussex and have lived here all my life. They say home is where the heart is, so I’ll stay put.

Who would you most like to have a drink with, and why?

Gus Poyet, the Brighton manager, because I think he would be great company. Other than that it would be interesting to have a drink with the remaining members of my favourite band Queen. I’m sure they have some stories to tell.

If you could only take three possessions to a desert island, what would they be?

A good book, a football and my phone.

If you could swap places with someone for the day, who would it be and why?

Whoever happens to be Cheryl Cole’s boyfriend at this present moment, for the obvious reasons which I am not going to state here!

What's your proudest achievement so far?

Getting on the radio and managing to stay here (so far!).
