From top local businesses to special individuals, from sports teams to brilliant charities – Worthing has it all. At the second annual Splash FM Awards ceremony held at the iconic Dome Cinema on Thursday 18th March.
The Splash Awards, hosted by Stuart Duggan and Anna B, honoured all kinds of people in 15 different categories.
All through January and February, nominations flew in thick and fast, and a team of judges worked hard to sift through them all, before deciding on the winners.

For this award, we were looking for an individual who has excelled in their chosen sport over the last 12 months; a sports person who has significantly improved in their personal performance. Qualities of our winner include commitment, skill and determination

Everybody has a favourite teacher from their schooldays, but to win our Top Teacher award, you have to have that extra special something. When choosing our winner, we were looking for those unique qualities that can't be found in text books - someone with an undying passion to help their pupils discover their full potential

This award is for a business who, despite the tough economy, has come through with flying colours over the last 18 months or less - proving to our listeners and judges that they really are the best new business in the Splash FM area |

We were looking for someone with an impresive drive and commitment to their chosen cause. We wanted to award a special person for their dedication and skill in raising much needed funds for a local charity or organisation |
