MUM OF THE YEAR

Winner: Clare Jee

Clare was diagnosed with cancer in March last year, and underwent surgery and treatment for the following nine months. After chemotherapy, Clare’s three children, Lily, Mimi and Ben decided she was even more beautiful without her hair – and they truly appreciated the way she helped them understand what was happening to her. “Our mum is always positive and never looks for the bad things in life – only the good,” they said.

Clare is now recovering and is slowly beginning to feel much better.
