LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Winner: Peter Huxtable MBE

Peter has been coxswain of the Shoreham Harbour lifeboat for 19 years and has helped to save hundreds of lives. He’s been awarded two RNLI Vellums for rescuing the crews of stricken vessels, as well as the MBE in 2005 for services to the RNLI. This modest, unassuming man has also worked tirelessly for the past two years to raise money and promote the £1 million appeal to help build a new lifeboat station for Shoreham.
