Tuesday 24th November

Today, scientists confirm that it's better to let anger out than hold it in, so if a colleague winds you up today, don't be polite....let them have it!!!

Some 'feel good' news today, Dawn from the Martello in Langney called us up to tell us her Grandaughter, Annabelle-Lilly is coming home today after 4 months in hospital (she was four months premature). Dawn wanted to thank the fine people at the Special Care Baby Unit at the DGH in Eastbourne. We want to wish Mum and Dad all the best too!

Not wanting to overplay this but....THE BOYS WON BATTLE OF THE SEXES TODAY!!!! - subtle enough Hanna?

Friday (thank goodness!!) 20th November

We have the weekend off, hopefully you have too!!

We had Jacqui Smith on the show today (no, not that one!!) and she managed a pretty respectable score of 250 which puts her at third in the leader board with one more week to go before the grand final.

The boys won Battle of the Sexes today although the overall winners for the week were the girls which puts the boys at 1 and the girls at 2 since we kicked this off three weeks ago. Not good news for Simon!!!

Wednesday 18th Novenber

Good luck to all the schools and colleges taking part in Eastbourne Youth Radio today, if your kids are doing it let us know so we can take a listen. Quick plug, you can hear them on 87.7FM, plug over!!!!

Another wet and windy day today and Simon forgot his lunch too, not the best start to the day, mind you, we're half way to the weekend!

After Alan's amazing score of 450 on Millionaire for a Month, today Bill managed to match it despite some more very tough questions. We were giving away cash to spend at Debenhams too, well done to the two Sharon's (unrelated) who won this morning. Sharon number 2 was in the car near the beach looking at the big waves, she didn't want to let her little daughter out in the wind as she may blow off. Mind you, she could still do that even in the car!!!

Simon gave Hanna a present today, it was an 'Autokitty' remote control for her cat, apparently it works too!!!

Tuesday 17th November

Alan in Eastbourne scored an amazing 450 points this morning playing Millionaire for a Month, despite some really tough questions, this puts him firmly at the top of the leader board - but he can still be beaten and we are looking for 5 finalists. Find out more HERE

It seems that the precise amount of flesh to flash for women looking to attract a guy is 40%, too much and it sends out the wrong message, too little and they lose interest!! Tomorrow Hanna is going to flash exactly 40% flesh to test the theory which may mean wearing a dress!! That doesn't happen very often!!!

The girls won Battle of the Sexes again this morning and it's looking a bit grim for the boys, Simon is seriously unimpressed and, quite frankly, sulking!!! It's all about the taking part, not the winning, at least that's what we're all telling him!

Yesterday Simon ate two lunches and had a double portion of curry last night. Today he's eating just a small lettuce leaf to make up for it.

Thanks to Taffty the taxi driver who put us right about the Sovereign Light Tower, look out to sea and you can see it about 7 miles offshore. Seems it in now unihabited but was leased out some years ago and inhabited by a family!! A bit lonely but you know those people that turn up at your doorstep trying to get you to switch energy supplier - you get the picture!!!

Monday 16th November

After a wet and windy weekend it's a.....wet and windy Monday morning as we head back to work - don't you love it? Corrina the postie called up, one of her letters blew out of her hand and ended up stuck in a tree!! She spent the next 15 minutes rescuing it, what a star, a real asset to Royal Mail.

Today we are not happy with TV schedulers, new Top Gear and new I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here both on at the same time, please, we only have one TV (Simon has 4 but can only watch one at a time, he has a full house).

Alison in Eastbourne was our first contestant for Millionaire for a Month with a score of '0', not as bad as it sounds though as it's -50 points for pass or wrong answer. It's a harsh quiz but a monster prize!!!

The girls won Battle of the Sexes today and Lee won a family pass to the ice skating in Eastbourne.

Saturday 14th November

Can't remember the password for the Sovereign FM Twitter account..arrggh!!! Also, can't get into the password manager on my phone which stores my 30 plus passwords and I've just eaten the last chocolate finger!!

Giving up now - off to watch X Factor with a risotto and glass of white, classy!!!
